"Devil Recognizes You" is Yumi's 50th single, and first since she left TALENT RADAR ENTERTAINMENT and J-STAR Records. The single is rumored to be directed at the people who turned their backs on her before she entered rehab.
Overview[]
Soon after entering a rehabilitation facility for alcohol and drug abuse, it was announced that Yumi had written the lyrics to a new song which, according to her management, "would become the biggest single of her career". Within hours of leaving, Yumi had planned and completed a global tour to raise support for her upcoming single and album release.
A matter of hours later, it was announced that the new single would be called The Devil Recognizes You, this was later shortened to Devil Recognizes You.
The track was produced by Timbaland and Yumi.
