Efímero is the sixth full-lenght album from the Argentinian punk-rock band Rest in Peace. This was the first album of the band to be completely in spanish, and maybe their most experimental album to date. Similar to the sound of its predecessor, Stolen Dreams, this album combines the Rest in Peace original punk-rock sound with elements of grunge, post-hardcore, psychedelic music and progressive rock. This was the last album of the band with guitarist Nicolás Rannoz, who was replacing Mike Alche, after he was gone because of problems with other band members.
The album gave the band a lot of media attention. The second issue of Rockstar Magazine inducted the album to the magazine Hall of Fame, and said that it was an album full of energy, even for those who weren't fluent with spanish.
There were only two singles released off the album, "Efímero", which was the first Rest in Peace release with Midnight/Mythic Records, and "Sin Ideales".
The album charted at #3 in South America, and #2 in the UK and Australia.
