Empty is the debut album for christian rock band Daniel and the lions. The album was released on December 30th, 1999 under independent label Head To Head Records. When the album first hit the shelves of most music stores it would not sell at all, but, when everyone figured out who was in the super group it started to fly off the shelves and the band began to increase in popularity.As of June 13th, 2002 the album was certified Platinum by the American Recording Industry and Gold by Canadian Recording Industry. Singles on the Album include Lion/Park n' Lot and Hero's, Lion and Park n' Lot did very well in the United Kingdom, Canada, and Europe charting #1 in both UK and Canada and #3 in Europe.
