Hence Those Tears is the first studio album of Asunder. It was released on February 19th, 2008 in the US.
When asked about the album the band commented that it held a lighter tone and dealt with self-exploration, God and Heaven, escapist fantasies, and the joys of love. Additionally, the tracks At Rest, Eyesore, and She Channels Angels from their previous release were reworked to fit the feel of the album.
