Kody Codt (born Kody Matthew Codt)(November 4, 1992 - June 15, 2004) was an American drummer from the band The News.


Personal LifeEdit

Kody was born in 1992 in New York City. He had already a big brother, Zakk Codt. During his childhood his dad taught him to play drums. He practiced everyday. Zakk and Kody formed the band The News in 2000, and had Jereme Logan be the bassist. They recorded a demo-album quite fast and two years later, they were signed to a record deal.

In 2004, when on a family vacation to France, the car crashed and he had serious injuries. When brought to the hospital he had been stabilized, but during the operation, he unfortunately died.

He was buried in New York.
