State of Mind is Daphne's 6th studio album, released in mid 2008 after a long hiatus from the music industry. The album, which served as a platform for Daphne to be more experimental with her music, has a more rock and electronic vibe to it, shying away from her usual bubble-gum pop & dance sound. This change of direction however didn't serve her well, with the album giving Daphne dismal sales, just under 3,000,000 copies world-wide, and the singles flopping in both sales and chart positions, just on the heels of Daphne's recent records sales with her hit single Be With You from her previous album My Image Unlimited. Daphne once again got to work with Pop Idol Madonna, as well as Micro Baby. This album also is her 1st release under Talent Radar Entertainment via a distribution deal with Skank-A-Licious Records
