The poor chart positions may be because the single wasn't promoted enough.

The band had never performed the song live until May 2009 where they debuted the song live at the hammersmith apollo, London. Max Armstrong called the song a rallying call for all the american teenagers who are trying to find their way in the most diverse country in the world.
